The 78th Brazilian Congress of Cardiology, which takes place between the 28th and 30th of September, at the FIERGS Events Center, will bring together more than eight thousand people, including speakers and congressmen. The event, one of the most important in the specialty, will make Brazil the global center of world cardiology with the presence of physicians and scientists from different countries. The most important clinical studies and scientific research will be presented at the Congress, as well as new guidelines that will guide the main treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
On behalf of the Cardiogeriatrics Department of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology, I have the honor of inviting you to participate in the XX Brazilian Congress of Cardiogeriatrics. The city of São Paulo was chosen to host the return of DECAGE’s in-person activities in 2023. With the central theme: “Preventing and treating comorbidities in the elderly”, the Scientific Committee, under the coordination of the Scientific Director of DECAGE, Dr. Izo Helber, is developing a program that covers the main pathologies of elderly people with heart disease, with an emphasis on practical and objective discussions. We will have the opportunity to answer questions and exchange experiences with renowned national and international guests.We wish everyone a wonderful Congress.
From November 16th to 18th, 2023, São Paulo will host the 19th Congress of the SBC Arterial Hypertension Department, which will have ” Science, Innovation and New Directions in Clinical Practice” as its central theme.
The congress will address advances and innovations in the treatment of hypertension, in addition to discussing new guidelines and promoting multidisciplinary interaction between specialists.
We will bring together more than 200 national and international speakers, who will promote scientific discussions on hypertension, obesity, metabolic diseases, diabetes and the impacts of high blood pressure on the kidneys and brain, among other extremely relevant topics.
40 years ago, the first Cardiac Arrhythmia Congress was held, promoted by the former Department of Arrhythmia and Clinical Electrophysiology (DAEC) of the Brazilian Society of Cardiology. We are here again welcoming you to the 40th Brazilian Congress on Cardiac Arrhythmias! A year of celebration and great pride for all of us. The city chosen for this special moment is Rio de Janeiro.
The program is being prepared with great care and we will be honored to welcome several international speakers to exchange experiences. Hands-on training stations and clinical case discussions will be highlighted. Additionally, we include update sessions on key guidelines and reviews of technological innovations in recent years.
The main topics of cardiology will be covered both in the format of clinical case discussions and in lectures with our clinical staff. We seek an interactive event with direct public participation, always addressing the most relevant issues for our specialty.
Our traditional highlight will be held where the main scientific articles are presented.
