Tamorish Kole graduated from Calcutta Medical College, Kolkata (India), affiliated to Calcutta University in 2001. He completed his residency program in Emergency Medicine at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad (India) and obtained the Fellowship in Emergency Medicine affiliated to the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK in 2003. He holds the Membership of the College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in Accident & Emergency Medicine since 2006. Additionally, he has earned the Fellowship of the Royal Society of Medicine (London) in 2008 and Fellowship of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) in 2021.

Throughout his career, Tamorish has held key leadership positions and made significant contributions in the field of Emergency Medicine. He served as the Head of EM at Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata (2007-2008), Head of Emergency Services at Max Healthcare (2008-2017), and Chair of EM & Medical Director at Medeor Hospital, Delhi NCR (2017-2020). Tamorish has been instrumental in developing emergency medicine programs, fostering international collaborations, and promoting clinical governance, disaster medicine, resuscitation science, and mass gathering medicine.

Tamorish Kole is a passionate educator and mentor. He has trained numerous residents in the field of Emergency Medicine, including 90 residents of the MEM program affiliated to The Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine, George Washington University, Washington DC, and 10 residents of the MEM program at Medeor Hospitals. He played a crucial role in initiating the first Indo-US emergency medicine program (MEM-GWU) in the State of Kerala in 2006, becoming the first Indian to be conferred the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor to the University. Tamorish has also served as a postgraduate teacher of Emergency Medicine for the DNB-EM program under the National Board of Examinations.
