He has made significant contributions to neonatology care in India, establishing himself as a leading authority in the field. Sunil began his career with Siemens India Ltd., where he received training in imaging, ventilators, and ICU monitoring units. He quickly became a star performer and remains well-recognized in the radiology industry in Delhi.

In 1986, Sunil founded his own company called Medical Systems and Services, based in New Delhi. With a unique corporate philosophy and a long-term focus, the company prioritizes customer service as its driving motto. Sunil believes in the principle of “DO NOT SELL WHAT YOU CANNOT SUPPORT,” emphasizing after-sales service and application support to ensure optimal outcomes for customers. Under his leadership, the company specialized in professional, application-based selling, consistently achieving leadership positions for its products. Sunil pioneered the development of newborn care equipment in India for the Mother and Child Care Development Programme, making significant advancements when there were only four NICUs available in Delhi’s government hospitals.

Sunil’s entrepreneurial journey also includes the establishment of MEDILFE Technologies, a company that introduced cochlear implants to India. He successfully executed a prestigious UNICEF order for 1720 resuscitation trolleys under the CSSM program of the Indian government. In 2009, Sunil invested in a Bangalore-based company involved in the marketing of digital radiography panels. Through his efforts, the company designed and manufactured C-arms and mobile and stationary digital radiography machines that achieved CE and US FDA approvals in 2017. The group company was later acquired by the Molbio group in India, which is part of the Moti Lal Oswal and Temasek group of investment companies.

Sunil’s current portfolio includes Mediserve (Medical Systems and Services) in New Delhi, a trading company specializing in neonatal equipment. He is also involved with Bird Meditech in Mumbai, a manufacturing company focused on neonatal products. Sunil is associated with Medilife Technologies in Delhi, which deals with distribution, audiology, and ENT equipment. Additionally, he is affiliated with Prognosys Medical Equipment Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore, which specializes in radiology equipment.

Sunil’s educational background is equally impressive. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering with Honors from Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), Delhi University. He has also completed a diploma in Sales and Marketing Management from IMS, YMCA, New Delhi, and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) at Delhi University.

With his extensive knowledge and experience in the medical equipment industry, Sunil is recognized as a leading authority in the field. He has earned the nickname “Amazon of medical equipment devices” in India due to his expertise in sourcing quality and budget-based equipment. Sunil has strong connections with companies in Europe and China, enabling direct sourcing from these regions. He also has an extensive network in the pharmaceutical industry in India, facilitating access to formulations and brands.

Sunil is an honorary member of the National Neonatology Forum of India and the All India Association of Medical Devices manufacturing companies (AIMED). He serves as an honorary technical advisor to the STPI startup Incubator in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, Sunil actively contributes to social work, regularly donating to and adopting schools through Ekal Vidyalaya, a movement dedicated to the holistic development of rural and tribal India and Nepal.

Ambassadors Board

MediGlobo is inviting a select group of cardiologists to become Translumina Ambassadors. Each State is going to have a nominated Ambassador, recognized by its influence and experience on the cardiology field. This ambassador will have two main objectives. The first one is to provide information and technical support to the distributors in the state and be the representative of the brand on the main cadiology events. The ambassadors will be responsable for assisting in the first uses of Translumina products and assure its correct uses, providing feedback on market opening and avoiding implantation problems.
The second goal is to provide information to MediGlobo about the market needs, new technologic features and new products on the market. This way MediGlobo can keep in touch with transluminal and update the commercial strategies based on the market changes.
