He is currently undertaking an ongoing specialization program in Clinical and Surgical Retina at Hospital de Olhos do Paraná, which he began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2023. This program allows him to further refine his expertise in retinal diseases and surgical interventions, ensuring that his patients receive the highest level of care.

To stay abreast of the latest advancements in his field, Diego actively participates in medical conferences and events. He has attended notable gatherings such as the Congresso dos Estudantes de Medicina do Espírito Santo in 2009, the I Jornada de Fisiologia e Fisiopatologia in 2011, and the 1ª Jornada Acadêmica de Medicina da UNIVIX in 2012. Additionally, Diego has enriched his knowledge through seminars such as the Lente Contato Johnson course in 2018 and professional conferences including the Congresso de Oftalmologia USP in 2017 and the Congresso Brasileiro de Oftalmologia in 2018.

Ambassadors Board

MediGlobo is inviting a select group of cardiologists to become Translumina Ambassadors. Each State is going to have a nominated Ambassador, recognized by its influence and experience on the cardiology field. This ambassador will have two main objectives. The first one is to provide information and technical support to the distributors in the state and be the representative of the brand on the main cadiology events. The ambassadors will be responsable for assisting in the first uses of Translumina products and assure its correct uses, providing feedback on market opening and avoiding implantation problems.
The second goal is to provide information to MediGlobo about the market needs, new technologic features and new products on the market. This way MediGlobo can keep in touch with transluminal and update the commercial strategies based on the market changes.
